Kentucky GenWeb projectTHE CHRONICLE TELEGRAM (Elyria, Ohio) Friday, October 27, 1967 LORAN—George Dalton Mowery, 68, of 4920 Vincent Ave., died yesterday afternoon in Amherst Hospital after a short illness. Mr. Mowery was born in Carter County, Ky. and had lived in Lorain 18 years. Surviving are his wife, Goldie; four daughters, Mrs. Orville (Kathleen) Munyan of Elyria, Mrs. Milford (Pauline) Trego of Chillicothe and Mrs. Richard (Mildred) Sipos and Mrs. Theodore (Bonnie) Kennedy, both of Lorain; two sons, Elwood and Gerald, both of Lorain; 22 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Zella Newman, Elyria, and three brothers, Leonard, Arthur and Wince, all of Portsmouth. Funeral arrangements will be made by the Schwartz Spence and Boyer Home for Funerals.
