Edith N. Colley (1921-2007) Edith N. Colley, 85, of Grayson, went to be with her Lord on Friday, July 20, 2007. She was born Nov. 6, 1921, in Bell County, Ky., a daughter of the late Albert and Doxie Miracle Parks and Maude Ballew, by whom she was raised. She was a former Grayson City Council woman, a member of the Republican Women’s Club, a homemaker and a former employee of Cook’s Florist and Wilma’s Dress Shop. She was preceded in death by a son, John Thomas Colley, and a granddaugther, Meshanna Donn Colley. She is survived by one son, Don Colley of Grayson; a daughter, Donna Colley of Austin, Texas; one granddaughter, Savanna Jo Colley of Grayson; and one grandson, Grayson Colley of Austin; a brother, Howard Ballew and a sister Janet Ramsey, both of Summersville, W.Va. Funeral services will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Malone Funeral Home in Grayson. Burial will be in the Kiser-McGinnis Cemetery. Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Monday and after 9 a.m. Tuesday.
