ALMO PATTON The Ashland Daily Independent Tuesday, August 26, 1980 Almo Patton, 68, Olive Hill, was dead on arrival Monday at St. Claire Medical Center in Morehead. Mr. Patton was born May 7, 1912, in Carter County, a son of the late Reece and Mary Stamper Patton. He was a retired construction worker, was a member of the D.A.V. and was a veteran of World War II. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Mary Kiser Patton; a son, Kimmy Patton of Olive Hill; two daughters, Mrs. Rosa Lee Hicks of Maineville, Ohio; two sisters, Mrs. Betty Roddohl of Montevideo, Minn., and Mrs. Ola Plenge of Cincinanti; two brothers, Harry and Clifford Ervin, both of Montevideo; nine grandchildren; and thre great-grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted at the Oney Funeral Home in Olive Hill by Edward C. Porter and Wade Roberts, ministers. Burial was in the Erwin Cemetery.
