Kentucky GenWeb projectMITCHELL Goldie M. Goldie M. Mitchell, 81, of Toledo, passed away Friday, February 18, 2005, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Toledo. She was born April 26, 1923, in Hitchins, KY. Goldie was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, North End Post. Survivors include her husband of 48 years, James M. Mitchell; sons, James (Marsha) Rowe, Gary (Lori) Thompson, Mike (Sandy) Mitchell, Don (Tammy) Mitchell and Tim (Angela) Mitchell; 13 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother, Robert Pelfrey, and her very close friend, Iva Brown. Friends are invited to visit from 2-8 p.m. Monday in the Ansberg-West Funeral Home, 3000 Sylvania Avenue (between Secor and Douglas Roads), where funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday. Robert Pelfrey, Goldie's brother, will officiate.
