Oma Gilliam (1927-2007)

Mrs. Oma Audrey Pendlum Gilliam, age 80, of Globe passed away Friday, Sept. 14, 2007, at the Saint Claire Regional Medical Center in Morehead. 

Oma was born Aug. 7, 1927, in Lewis County, the daughter of the late Roy and Olive Hamilton Pendlum. 

She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Clyde Hearl Gilliam.

She also was preceded in death by one brother, Clayton Pendlum; and one sister, Neola Fitch. 

Mrs. Gilliam was a homemaker, loving wife and mother. She was a member of the Flat Fork Church of God and has been a Christian for more than 45 years. 

Survivors, in addition to her husband, inlclude two sons and a daughter-in-law, Roy Dale Gilliam of Michigan, and Gary Clyde and 
Patricia Gilliam of Hurricane, W.Va.; four daughters and three sons-in-law, Bonnie and Chelmar Rayburn of Olive Hill, Joyce 
and J.R. Nolen of Greenwood, Ind., Beverly Gilliam and Patty and Scott Flatt, all of Lexington; 13 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren. 

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Monday, Sept. 17, 2007, at Globe Funeral Chapel in Olive Hill, with Brother Elijah Wagoner and 
Brother Delmar Logan Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in the Dean Cemetery on Highway US 60 in Olive Hill. 

Friends may call after 6 p.m. Sunday and until the service hour Monday at Globe Funeral Chapel in Olive Hill. 

Victor Owens, Mike Rayburn, Seth Wolf, Steve Stone, Mark Nolen, Matt Guinn, Roger Rayburn, Darby Joe Rayburn and Brad Gilliam will serve as pallbearers.
