Kentucky GenWeb projectWilliam Pendlum died at his home. Son of James Elick and Jane Pendlum he was born June 13, 1864 at Upper Tygart, KY, died February 17, 1947, age 82 years, 8 months and 4 days. Resident of Carter Co., KY all his live. He married Hannah Fannin, who proceeded him in death, October 24, 1945. Parents of seven children, three sons, four daughters, three of them having already passed away. He leaves to mourn his passing, two sons, Charlie of Wallingford, KY and Roy of Upper Tygart, KY, two daughters, Lona of Emerson, KY and Bessie of Upper Tygart, KY, and leaves two sisters, Amanda Wright of Upper Tygart, KY and Sue Ray of Toledo, Ohio and one brother, Jim Pendlum of Indiana, twenty-nine grandchildren and twenty great-grandchildren. Rev. Jake Planck officiating, burial in Walnut Grove Cemetery.
