Gladys Pennington 1921 - 2003 Gladys Edith Pennington, 81, of Webbville died Thursday at her residence following a long illness. She was born August 15, 1921 a daughter of the late Commodore and Rose Justice Porter. She was a homemaker and of Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her husband Lon Pennington Sr., a son Lon Pennington Jr., a daughter Matilda Pennington, one brother Lyndsey Porter, and two sisters Florence Sloas and Lorraine Henson. Her survivors include: 6 Sons: Jimmy Pennington and Roger Dale Pennington both of Greenup, KY, Ronald Gene Pennington of Columbus, OH, Johnny Pennington of Olive Hill, Jerry Lee Pennington of Webbville and Donald Ray Pennington of Flatwoods; 2 Daughters: Betty Lou Adkins and Linda Sue Pennington both of Webbville of KY; 3 Sisters: Ruby Caudill and Gracie Blake both of Ashland, KY and Evelyn Skeens of Rush, KY; Brother: James Porter of Ashland, KY and 18 GC, 11 GGC. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday 2:00 p.m. at the Blaines Trace Enterprise Baptist Church by the ministers Russell Griffith and Enis Lewis. Burial will be in the Pennington Family Cemetery.
