Wanda L. Manning

Born – 1931

WALBRIDGE, OH. - Wanda L. Manning, age 75, of Walbridge, Ohio passed away on Thursday, March 22, 2007 at St. Charles Mercy Hospital. 

She was born on December 12, 1931 to Paul and Arlene (Goodan) Porter in Olive Hill, KY. 

Wanda was an angel to children and a mother to all. She loved children, as well as raising 8 of her own, she opened her home 
and her heart to many over the years and always saw that they completed their education.

Surviving are her children, Roger (Patty) Manning, Arlene (Jerry) Grindstaff, Sandra (Harry) Piatt, Tamara Gilpin, Carla (Dave) Brecht, 
Troy Curtis Manning and Delores (Boyd) Gill; grandchildren, Jody (David) Brewer, Wanda (Jeff) Hamilton, Tracy (John) Ball, Kim (Jay) Napolski, 
Melissa Brimmer, Stacie (Chad) North, Dale Piatt, Rodney (Anne) Manning, Ashley Manning, Christopher Brecht, Troy Dylan Manning, 
Paul R. Thompson, Gerry Symington, Amanda Goben, Becky Flores, Adam McDonald, Bobby & Debbie Thompson, Scottie & Missy Thompson, 
Dywane & Peggy Thompson and Jaqi Grindstaff; siblings, Ray (Janet) Porter, Martha Thompson, John Paul (Sue) Porter, Bonnie (Sam) Thompson, 
Sue (Terry) Dean, Lou Ella (James) Thompson and Patricia (Homer) Stamper; sister in-law, Phyllis Porter. 
Also surviving are 26 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, Don Snyder and friends.

Wanda was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Arlene Porter; her husband, Curtis Manning; son, Daniel Manning; 
brothers, Junior Porter and Curtis Ross Porter; sister in-law, June Porter; brother in-law, Iva Thomas; son in-law, Harry Murphy; 
grandson, Curtis L. Manning; great grandson, D.J. Brewer, and friends, Connie and Mae Meadows.

Friends may visit at the Sujkowski Funeral Home of Rossford, 830 Lime City Rd. on Monday, March 26th from 2-8 PM 
and Tuesday, March 27, from 2-8 PM. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 28th at 12noon in the funeral home. 

Interment will follow at Lake Township Cemetery.
