Gordon Lee Reed - 1932-2007 Gordon Lee Reed, 74, of Grayson, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, May 15, at his residence. Mr. Reed was born June 18, 1932, at Hazard, a son of the late Andrew and Elsie Turner Reed. He was a retired heavy equipment operator and a member of First Baptist Church in Grayson, the Hazard Masonic Lodge and the United Steelworkers AFL-CIO 14581. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Clyde Eugene Reed, and a sister, Peggy “Bootsie” Smith. His survivors include his wife, Shirley Davis Reed of Grayson.; two sons, Rickey and Trudy Reed of Smackover, Ark., and Gregroy Reed of Alabama; four daughters, Debbie and Mike Lindon of Caney, Donna and David Howard of Caney, Diane and Ronnie Benton of Springfield, Ohio, and Cecilia and Wesley Folson of Tampa, Fla.; one stepson, David and Donna Lawson of Grayson; four sisters, Wilma Dean and Carl Crawford of Florida, Helen and Tito Lopez of Malone, Brenda and Richard Watson of Caney, and Marsha and Terry Patrick of Wellington; two brothers, Len and Dot Reed of Caney and Jim and Marion Reed of Maize; 11 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the Grace Baptist Church in Malone with Elmer Smith officiating. Burial will be in the Caney Cemetery in Morgan County. Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. today at Malone Funeral Home in Grayson and after 11 a.m. Friday at Grace Baptist Church in Malone.
