Nadine Violet Reeves Thomas - 1914-2007 Nadine Violet Reeves Thomas, 93, of Grayson, Ky., went to be with her Lord on Wednesday evening, March 28, 2007, in Carter Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born March 22, 1914, in Willard, Ky., a daughter of the late John Wesley and Ida Houck Reeves. She was a homemaker and a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Nadine was a member of Willard Baptist Church and a former Sunday school teacher. Preceding her in death were her husband, Walter Thomas, on March 15, 1998; a son, Danny Thomas; a granddaughter, Lacey Thomas; three brothers, Forest Reeves, Clifford Reeves and Everett Reeves; and two sisters, Juanita Dravenscott and Zelma Smith. She is survived by a son, Jack and Helen Thomas of Willard; two daughters, Bonnie and John Buckner and Jettie Jo and LQ Marshall, both of Willard; a brother, Emmitt Reeves of Del Barton, W.Va.; a daughter-in-law, Bonnie Thomas of Grayson; 11 grandchildren, Tom Gollihue, Deannie Roar, Lowell Thomas, Tim Day, Ellie Neumann, Trish Dyer, Kathy Perkins, Deana Sallaz, Tracy Lewis, Danny Thomas Jr. and Wendy Garvin; 19 great-grandchildren; and five great-great grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 31, 2007, at Malone Funeral Home in Grayson by Ronnie Graves and John Sergent, ministers. Burial will be in East Carter County Memory Gardens.
