Kentucky GenWeb projectKathryn Chapman 1925-2003 Kathryn Chapman, 78, of Grayson, Ky., formerly of Raceland, Ky., entered eternal rest on Sunday, Nov. 23, 2003, at her residence. Mrs. Chapman was born Jan. 23, 1925, in Gallup, Ky., a daughter of the late John and Sadie Thompson Robinette. She was a member of First Church of the Nazarene in Flatwoods. Surviving are her loving husband, James Chapman; three daughters, Merida Roberts of Mount Sterling, Ky., Alberta Baldridge of Lloyd, Ky., and Sharon Tackett of Willard, Ohio; two sons, Curtis Chapman of Raceland, Ky., and Ronald Mark Chapman of Catlettsburg, Ky.; two sisters, Thelma Rice of Haverhill, Ohio, and Joann Holley of Blaine, Ky.; nine grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 25, 2003, at Evans Funeral Home in Raceland by the Rev. Charles Layne and the Rev. Jim Harris. Burial will be in Bellefonte Memorial Gardens in Flatwoods. Friends may call from 6 to 9 tonight at the funeral home.
