Kentucky GenWeb projectObituaries - 5/10/04 Kentucky Greg Lowe 1954-2004 Gregory Lee Lowe, 49, of Ashland, husband of Marquitta Herald Lowe, passed away Saturday morning, May 8, 2004, in King's Daughters Medical Center. Mr. Lowe was born July 11, 1954, in Boyd County, Ky., a son of Talmadge and Barbara Horn Whitt of Rush, Ky. He was preceded in death by a son, Jason Lowe, in 2002. In addition to his parents and wife, he is survived by a son, James Lowe of Ashland; three brothers, Brian Whitt of Grayson, Ky., Douglas Whitt of Ashland and Barry Whitt of Rush; and a special cousin and friend, Melvin Morgan and his wife, Claudetta, of Westwood, Ky. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, May 11, 2004, at 2 p.m. at Caniff Funeral Home in Westwood by Pastor Perry Young. Burial will be in Dixon Cemetery. Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
