Juanita Lake Rucker Sturgill Born – 1926 MONETA, VA - Juanita Lake Rucker Sturgill, age 81, of Moneta, VA, passed away Tuesday, August 28th, 2007 in Roanoke, VA. She was born June 26th, 1926 at Willard, KY, a daughter of the late Charles Walter and Cone Posey Rucker. She was a beautician and was of the Christian faith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert G. Sturgill and her brothers, Eugene, Charles, Victor, Thorton, Edgar, Jack and John Rucker. Her survivors include: one sister, Alice J. Rucker of Webbville, KY; Sisters-in-law, Mrs. Thorton Rucker of Webbville, KY, Mrs. Victor Rucker of Flemingsburg, KY and Mrs. Edgar Rucker of Nashville, TN; Brothers and sisters-n-law, Marty and Walter Martin of Indian Lake, OH, Tom and Barbara Sturgill of Ashland, KY and Ann and Fred Roselle of Alabama and a host of nieces and nephews. Juanita had no children but, was a mother to all who needed her. Funeral services will be conducted Friday, August 31st, 2007 at 8:00pm at the Malone Funeral Home with Bro. David Boggs, officiating.
