Kentucky GenWeb projectSamuel Rucker 1943-2004 Samuel Rucker, 60, of Ashland, Ky., went to be with the Lord on Sunday, Jan. 25. He was born Feb. 18, 1943, a son of the late Raleigh and Kathleen Mable Dinkens Rucker. He was a self-employed contractor. He was an Army veteran. He is survived by two daughters, Teena Lynn Rucker of Ashland and Karla May Rucker of Lucasville, Ohio; a son, William J. Morrison of Cannonsburg, Ky.; three brothers, Lester Rucker and Clyde Rucker, both of Grayson, Ky., and Luther Rucker of Olive Hill, Ky.; two sisters, Mary Rucker of Grayson and Sharon White of Ashland; and two grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Coalton First Baptist Church by Bill Gullett and Raetta Schank, ministers. Burial will be in Rucker Family Cemetery. Visitation will be at the church after 6 p.m. today. Malone Funeral Home in Grayson is in charge of arrangements. Daily Independent, The (Jan/28/2004)
