Izora Sagraves Johnson (1913-2007) Izora Sagraves Johnson, 93, of Grayson, Ky., went to be with her Lord Jesus Christ and her loved ones awaiting her in Heaven on Monday, March 5, 2007, at the home of her granddaughter, Andrea Bond, surrounded by her family who loved her. Izora was born May 3, 1913, to William Joseph and Mary Sagraves. She was preceded in death by her parents and her stepmother, Rosie B. Mosier Sagraves; her husband, Jake Johnson; two daughters, Bonnie Johnson and Mary Elizabeth Johnson; three sons, Leroy Johnson, Charles Ray and Billy Joe Johnson; a grandson, Danny Boy Hall; two great-grandchildren, Danny Ray Hall and Hannah Jane Bond; three brothers, Outher, Clyde and Bill Sagraves; and three sisters, Nora Wells, Susie Sparks and Marie Sagraves. Izora is survived by two daughters, Betty Lou Hall of Hitchins, Ky., and Nora Sue Seagraves of Grayson; a son, John Paul Johnson of Grayson; 12 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; three brothers, Clem Sagraves and Ray Sagraves, both of Grayson, and Earl Sagraves of Columbus, Ohio; a special niece, Pauline Wells, who helped in caring for her and was by her side when she passed; and three special nephews, Randy Sagraves, James Ed Sagraves and Clem Sagraves Jr., who showed their respect for her by checking on her during her illness. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 8, 2007, at Malone Funeral Home in Grayson by Tim Hall and Ronald Seagraves, ministers. Burial will be in Edison Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, March 7, at the funeral home.
