Kentucky GenWeb projectGarnet Scherer 1915-2004 Garnet L. Scherer, 88, of Ironton, died Thursday, Jan. 8, at her home. Mrs. Scherer was born April 19, 1915, in Olive Hill, Ky. Her husband, Harold Joseph Scherer, preceded her in death. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. There will be no visitation. Phillips Funeral Home in Ironton is in charge of arrangements. Contributions may be made to Community of Ironton, P.O. Box 499, Ironton, OH 45638 or Community Hospice, 1538 Central Ave., Ashland, KY 41101.
