Kentucky GenWeb projectGlen “Bubby” Simmons II - 1962-2006 Glen Joe “Bubby” Simmons II, 43, of Sandy Hook, died Saturday in Holy Cross Hospital in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. He was born Nov. 11, 1962, in Carter County. The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Eldridge-Waddell-Whitt Funeral Home in Sandy Hook. Burial will be in Simmons Family Cemetery in Sandy Hook. Friends may call after 2 p.m. today and before the service Thursday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Bubby Joe Simmons Memorial Fund, c/o Kentucky Bank, P.O. Box 707, Sandy Hook.
