Kentucky GenWeb projectBilly J. Stamper Billy J. Stamper, 80, of Mansfield, died early Thursday morning, December 16, 2004, at Oak Grove Manor. He was born November 27, 1924, in Carter County, Kentucky to George Washington and Elizabeth (McGlone) Stamper. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marines and a member of the V.F. W. and American Legion. He enjoyed playing cards and pool. He is survived by two brothers and a sister-in-law, Bobby A. and Ruth Stamper of Salt Lick, Kentucky and Junior Stamper of Columbus; several nieces and nephews; and good friend, Jimmy Mollett of Mansfield. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Geraldine Stamper in 2000. There will be no calling hours or funeral services observed
