Portsmouth Times, Monday, Dec. 11, 1967 Lincoln Stamper Lincoln Stamper, 74, of Lucasville, Rt. 1, died Sunday in Huntington Veterans Hospital. A native of Olive Hill, he was a retired machinist, formerly employed by Perfection Stove Co. in Cleveland. Stamper was a veteran of World War I. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Bessie Stamper; two sons, William of Lucasville and Theodore of Shidler, Okla; three daughters, Mrs. Katheryn Shaffer of Lucasville Rt. 1, Mrs. Betty Wellman of West Portsmouth and Mrs. Gladys Meyers of Odenton, Md. and 13 grandchildren. Services are to be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Daehler Funeral Home with interment in Scioto Burial Park. Friends may call at the Stamper residence after 1 p.m. Tuesday.
