THE COSHOCTON TRIBUNE (Coshocton, Ohio) Friday, October 8, 1971 NEW PHILADELPHIA—Charles A. Stapleton, 58, of New Philadelphia, a former Coshocton area resident, died Thursday at Timken-Mercy Hospital, Canton, where he had undergone head surgery. he had been admitted Tuesday to the hospital after suffering a severe head injury in a fall. He was born Sept. 24, 1913 in Grayson, Ky., a son of the late Joe and Anna Everman Stapleton. On June 27, 1948 he was married to the former Alice Leas of Coshocton County, who survives. Besides the wife, Surviving are tow brothers, Frank of Champagne, Ill., and Joe, of Grayson, Ky.; three sisters, Mrs. Ottie Mead, Goshen, Ky.; Mrs. Gilbert (Garnet) Johnson, Marion, O., and Mrs. Lucille Princhard, Ashland, Ky. One son is deceased Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at the Kaserman-Naylor Funeral Home in New Philadelphia, with the Rev. William Hewett officiating. Burial will be in Valley View Cemetery near Warsaw. Friends may call at the funeral home 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday.
