OBIT - Cleo Stevens Carroll - Cleo Carroll, 76, of 1150 Pawnee Ave. died Sunday, April 19, 1998, in MedCentral/Mansfield Hospital after a long illness. Mrs. Carroll was born February 26, 1922 in Grahn, Kentucky, resideing in the Manfield area since 1964. She retired from Rosemont Nursing Home and was a member of the Cornerstone Temple of Faith on Lenox Avenue. Surviving are five sons, James R. and Kenneth L. Carroll of Kentucky, Billy R., Lowell C. and Larry E. Carroll, all of Mansfield; two daughters, Mary H. Pence and Janet F. Baird, both of Mansfield; thirty grandchildren; forty-six great-grandchildren; six brothers, Ercil, Ralph, William and Junior Stevens, all of Mansfield, Gene Stevens of Grahn, Kentucky, and Carmel Stevens of Olive Hill, Kentucky; and two sisters, Cathleen Tipon of Versailles, Kentucky and Bea Carroll of Grahn, Kentucky. She was preceded in death by her parents, David Lewis & Mary Ethel (Blevins) Stevens; her husband, Ray Carroll, in October of 1991; and a son, Willis R. Carroll. Friends may call at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors on Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. at the Hannah Road Church of God conducted by the Rev.
