Kentucky GenWeb projectIda B. Stevens - 1917-2007 Ida B. Stevens, 89, of Green, Ky., passed away June 9, 2007 in St. Claire Medical Center in Morehead, Ky., with her loving family at her side. She was a member of Upper Bruin Enterprise Baptist Church since 1950. She was born Dec. 3, 1917, in Elliott County, Ky., a daughter of the late James M. and Oma Barker Stevens. She was also preceded in death by four sisters, Ivory Sparks, Gracie Keaton, Audie Porter and Susan Knipp; and five brothers, Isaac Stevens, Henry Stevens, Jack Stevens, Arlie Stevens and Jake Stevens. She is survived by a special niece, Cloma Sturgill, with whom she lived for the past several years, and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends who will miss her very much. She was “Aunt Ida” to everyone who knew her. The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Upper Bruin Enterprise Baptist Church. Visitation will be after 6 p.m. today at Lewis & Ferguson Funeral Home in Sandy Hook and two hours before services at the church.
