1914-2003
Dorothy Stidham Vincent, 89, of Grayson, Ky., died Tuesday, Nov. 25, 2003, in Carter Nursing & Rehab Center.
She was born Feb. 7, 1914, at Leon, Ky., a daughter of the late Lafe and Phoebe Sammons Stidham.
She was a wonderful mother and grandmother and was a member of the Oak Grove Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond O. Vincent; a daughter, Janet Sharon; and nine brothers and sisters.
She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Larry and Penny Vincent of Ft. Collins, Colo., and Ronald and Angie Vincent of Grayson; a daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Bob Freimark of Chapel Hill, N.C.; 11 grandchildren, Aaron Vincent, Robin Vincent, Evan Vincent, Haley Vincent, Judi Freimark, Missi Freimark, Cindy Freimark, Kim Fears, Debbie Eudy, Mike Sharon and David Sharon; 10 great-grandchildren, Skyler Vincent, Cameron Vincent, Nathan Fears, Amanda Coffer, Austin Eudy, Jacklyn Sharon, Joseph Sharon, Emily Sharon, Jacob Sharon and Jessica Sharon; and one great-great-grandchild, Lily Coffer.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, Nov. 29, at 2 p.m. at the Malone Funeral Home in Grayson by the Rev. Dick Damron. Burial will be in the East Carter County Memory Gardens.
Friends may call Friday evening, Nov. 28, from 6 to 9 p.m. and Saturday after noon until service time at the funeral home.
