Kentucky GenWeb projectAda Stone Webb 1916-2003 Ada Stone Webb, age 87, of 245 Reunion Drive, Olive Hill, Ky., passed away Sunday evening, Dec. 14, 2003, in Carter Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Grayson, Ky. Mrs. Webb was born June 24, 1916, in Carter County, Ky., a daughter of the late Sylvester and Louvena Patrick Stone. She was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith, being a Christian for 40 years. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Willie Webb; one son, Farrell Webb; two daughters, Betty Ruth Webb and Marcella Fay Webb; one brother, Elvie Stone; and two sisters, Mable Stone and Sylvena Fannin. Ada is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Jim and Fran Webb, and Rick and Sonni Webb, all of Olive Hill; two daughters and sons-in-law, Phyllis and Almie Barker, and Charlotte and Jim Hollingsworth, all of Olive Hill; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 17, 2003, at Globe Funeral Chapel in Olive Hill and officiated by Terry Dean and Gary Sparks. Burial will follow in Webb Cemetery on Webb Ridge. Friends may call after 4 p.m. today and until time of the service Wednesday at the funeral home. .
