Kentucky GenWeb projectTHE TIMES RECORDER (Zanesville, Ohio) Saturday, April 17, 1965 Mrs. Ella May (Stone) Houk, 66, of 41 South Fourth Street died at 2:30 a.m. Friday (April 16) at her home after a long illness. Born in Carter County, Ky., May 9, 1896, she was a daughter of James and Julia Hill Stone. She attended Free Methodist Church in Zanesville. She is survived by her husband, Raymond; two daughters, Mrs. Gertrude Rinehart of Crooksville and Mrs. Gladys Hale of Cincinnati; three sons, Fred, George and James, all of Crooksville; two sisters, Mrs. Ike Abrams and Mrs. Roosevelt York, both of Ironton; a brother Ott Meadows of Ironton; 27 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Fred L. Cannon and Sons Funeral Home in Crooksville with Rev. Elton Moose officiating. Burial will be in the Mount Horeb Cemetery near Crooksville. Friends may call at the funeral home.
