Janet May [Suttles] Sisler June 13, 1937-Aug. 27, 2001 SPRINGFIELD - Janet M. Sisler, 64, of Springfield was called home to be with the Lord on Monday evening, August 27, 2001, in Mercy Medical Center. She was born June 13, 1937, in Grayson, Ky., the daughter of Clark and Mary Elizabeth Sanders Suttles. Janet worked with her husband, Ed, in their business, American Fence Company for 39 years. Her survivors include her husband of 47 years, Edward E. Sisler; two daughters and sons-in-law, Patricia and Donald Taulbee of Bellefontaine, Heidi and Doug Turner of Fishers, Ind.; three sons and two daughters-in-law, Joseph and Teresa Sisler, Daniel Sisler and Edward and Marlene Sisler, all of Springfield; one daughter- in-law, Beth Sisler of Springfield; three sisters, Esther Cade of Pedro and Betty Suttles and Loretta Cholson, both of Ironton; one brother, William Suttles of Catlettsburg, Ky.; eight grandchildren, Hilary Rehm, Crista Sisler, Timothy Sisler, Emilie Turner, Jacob Turner, Eric Sisler, Robbie Sisler and Angie Taulbee; numerous nieces and nephews; and special friends, Marlene Suttles, Jean Beach and Eula Bobbitt. She was preceded in death by one son, Timothy Sisler in 1989; and two brothers, Elwood and Donald Ray Suttles. A gathering of family and friends will be held in the Littleton and Rue Funeral Home in Springfield from 5-8 p.m. Thursday. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home Friday at 10 a.m., with Pastor Mike Surgenor officiating.
