Kentucky GenWeb projectDied Mrs. Herbert Carroll died Sunday, April 10th, at Huntington, W. Va., of pneumonia fever and plurisy. The remains were brought here Monday and taken to the Carroll graveyard on Everman creek for burial. Funeral services were conducted at the grave by Rev. F. P. Lambert. Deceased before marriage was Miss Helen Swanagan, daughter of A. J. Swanagan. She joined her husband at Huntington some two weeks before her death. Besides her husband she leaves an eight day old baby and many relatives and friends who will sadly miss her. She was a devout christian and glorified the teachings of the Saviour by her noble christian life. (East Kentucky Journal, Apr 21, 1921, pg 3)
