Aaron N. Tackett 1922 - 2006 MISSOURI - Aaron N. Tackett, 84, Blue Springs, Mo., passed away Saturday, Dec. 16, 2006, at his home, surrounded by his loving family. Aaron was born on February 24, 1922, to Abner and Rosa (Littleton) Tackett in Morehead. On Nov. 13, 1943, he was united in marriage to Frances (Eckles). Aaron served his country in World War II in the Army Air Corps. He was employed by the Bendix Corp. as a U.S. Government Machinist and was a member of the Blue Springs Police Auxiliary and New Garden Primitive Baptist Church of Excelsior Springs, Mo. Aaron loved to cook and enjoyed farming part-time. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Sharon Lesmeister and a grandson, David Lesmeister. His survivors include his wife, Frances, of the home; daughter Judith Willis and her husband, Richard of Grain Valley, Mo.; brothers Elvis Tackett of Germantown, Ohio, and Walter Tackett of Morehead, three grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held Wednesday, Dec. 20 at the Webb-Freer Funeral Home, Blue Springs, 816-229-2101. Interment followed in Blue Springs Cemetery. The family suggests memorial contributions to the Kansas City Hospice. Morehead News
