Kentucky GenWeb projectTHE TIMES RECORDER (Zanesville, Ohio) Sunday, August 4, 1968 Mrs. Essie (Tackett) Wallace, 68, of Oakfield, Perry County died at 6 p.m. Saturday (Aug.3) at Arlington Rest Home in Newark ending a six year illness. She had been a resident of the home two years. Mrs. Wallace was born June 15, 1890, in Willard, Ky., a daughter of Jefferson and Amanda Bayes Tackett. Her husband, Edmund, died in 1931. She was a member of the Oakfield Wesleyan Church. Surviving are three sons, Howard of Reynoldsburg and William and Paul of Crooksville Route 2; seven grandchildren, a great-grandchild and three, brothers, Everett of Florida, James of Detroit, Mich., and Harlan of Phoenix, Ariz. The body was taken to Roberts Funeral Home here where friends may call after 7 p.m. today.
