Kentucky GenWeb projectEdward Thornbury The Charleston Gazette, Charleston W.Va. Edward H. Thornbury 81,of Bluefield died March 7,1997 in a Bluefield Hospital. He was a piano tuner formerly employed by Lowman Piano Co., a member of St.Mary's Episcopal Church and a member of the Bluefield Dance Club. Surviving are two daughters Leslie McElveen of Darlington S.C., and Nancy Nipper of Bluefield; a son John of West Hollywood Cal, a stepdaughter Diana Walker of Dunbar,W.Va; a sister Dorothy Tiedman of Sun City Ariz.; and a brother Roscoe Conklin Jr. of Belle W.Va, Four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Services were at St Mary's Episcopal Church by Rev. Tom Mustard and Burial was in Reeves Family Cemetery, Willard Ky, Carter County.
