Kentucky GenWeb projectThelma Gumm 1923 - 2003 Thelma V. Tolliver Gumm, age 80, of Grayson, KY, went to be with the Lord, Sunday, November 16, 2003, in St. Claire Medical Center in Morehead, KY following an extended illness. She was born June 16th, 1923, at Davy’s Run, KY, a daughter of the late David and Sarah Pennington Tolliver. She was a homemaker and was of the Protestant Faith. Preceding her in death was her husband, Chester Gumm and 2 daughters, Phyllis Kiser and Cynthia Gumm. Her survivors include: 6 sons: Ray Gumm, Eddie Gumm both of Georgetown, KY, Roger Gumm, Robert Gumm, Timmy Gumm and Jr. Gumm all of Grayson; 3 daughters: Connie Damron, Bonnie Mullins and Betty Gumm all of Grayson; 13 brothers and sisters, 30 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, November 19th, 2003 at 11:00 am at the Malone Funeral Home with Tony Coile, minister. Burial will be in the Damron Cemetery. Friends may call Tuesday evening, Nov. 18th, from 6-9 PM and Wednesday after 9:00 am until service time at the funeral home.
