Lucinda Francis Armstrong
Lucinda was born on October 4, 1853 in Carter Co., Ky. and died May 28, 1934 in Carter Co. Ky.. She was the daughter of John W. Armstrong and Lucinda Francis McDavid.
Lucinda married Austin Francis "Bogue" Ross on Feb. 17, 1873. Austin was born May 17, 1848 in Ky and died June 11, 1914. He was buried at Ross Chapel Cemetery, Carter Co., Ky
Lucinda and Austin had children:
Lucinda Jayne Ross, "Lucy", was born Jan. 30, 1879, died Jan. 3, 1890
Hermon F. Ross was born June 19,1875 and died Sept. 24, 1887
Viola H. Ross, "Hornet", was born July 25, 1891 and died March 31, 1896. She was buried at Ross Chapel Cemetery, Carter Co., Ky
..."Hornet was a nickname given to her by her father"
Amanda Catherine Ross, “Amanda”, was born July 1885 and died Aug. 17,1916 in Carter Co.,Ky.. She married Balsar "Boss" Burnett.
Van Grover Ross, "Buster", was born May 1889 in Ky

"This photo came from a collection of Retha (Mullins) Kiser.
Retha lived to about 100 and these are photos that one of her relatives got from her. Her husband was Bert Kiser".

John looks a little old in the photo. There's an outside chance this is John Haskel Armstrong's daughter Lucy (John W. Armstrong's granddaughter) (JWG)
