Vernon R. Barker

This is a photo of my uncle Vernon R. Barker.

Vernon was the son of Edd R. Barker and Mary Lee (Whitt) Barker. He was born on January 4, 1928 and died on February 13, 1951.

Vernon was a Sergeant FC in the US Army. He was killed in action in Korea and was buried in Tick Ridge Cemetery.
