Ernest Burchett
Ernest Burchett was the son of Madison Burchett and Caroline Stallard Burchett.
He was born August 28,1898 in Carter Co. Ky and died September 17,1972. He is buried in the Burchett-Dailey Cemetery in Olive Hill, Ky.

1. Ernest Burchett was the son of Mattison Burchett and Caroline Stallard Burchett.
He was born August 28, 1898 in Carter Co. KY and died September 17, 1972. He is buried in the Burchett-Dailey Cemetery in Olive Hill, KY.
2. Bessie Burchett Duncan Peck was the daughter of Mattison Burchett and Caroline Stallard Burchett.
Bessie was born November 10, 1909 in Carter Co. KY. and died September 29,1998. She married Joseph “Joe” Duncan. Her son is 3.Billy Duncan.
She later married Luther Earnest Peck from Middletown/Fairborn, Ohio . She is buried in the Burchett- Dailey Cemetery in Olive Hill, KY.
3. Billy Dearl Duncan was born 11/17/1929 in Olive Hill, KY. and died 10/11/1997 in Dayton, Ohio.
Billy is buried in the Valley View Memorial Gardens in Dayton Ohio . He was the son of Joe Duncan and Bessie Burchett
and the grandson of Mattison Burchett and Caroline Stallard Burchett. He married Betty Madewell and they resided in Dayton Ohio.
They had 2 children, Linda and Billy Jr. The family still lives in Dayton , Ohio .
4. This is Maxine Burchett Stetts (on left) and children .Maxine was born 6/4/1922 in Carter Co, KY and died 4/28/1995.in PA.
She was the daughter of 1.Ernest Burchett and Nellie Holmes (died of pneumonia March 17, 1931)
and the granddaughter of Mattison Burchett and Caroline Stallard Burchett. She married Richard "Dick" Stetts and had 9 children,
including a set of twins. One little girl died young. Dick was born 10/11/1921 and died 12/23/1997 in PA.
5. Gloria Jean Burchett Cox Coffey was born March 18, 1929 in Carter County, KY the middle daughter of 10.Earl Burchett and 8.Violet Burchett.
She died in Florida around 1980 trying to save her granddaughter, Jennifer Hubbard during house fire (both died in the fire).
6. Anna Visa “Vicey” Burchett was born June 16, 1921 in Carter County, KY. She was the daughter of Aaron and Lillie Boggs Burchett.
She married “Frinnie” Blackburn . Wayne Jefferson Blackburn was their son.
7. Gladys Mae James Messer was born June 25, 1928, in Carter County, KY a daughter of the late Charlie and Charmie Campbell
James and died February 24, 2009. She was married to Laverne Messer for 62 years.
They had the following children Gregory Laverne Messer, Alice Sue Bryant, Teresa Lynn LeMaster, Judi James, and Leslie Diane Taylor.
8. Violet Burchett was born in Carter County the daughter of James H. Burchett and Laura Evans.
9. Anna Lee Burchett Watson was born May 10, 1932. She married Russell Eugene Watson born 1-20-1931 and died 2007.
She is the daughter of 10.Earl Burchett and 8.Violet Burchett. Anna Lee is the youngest of their three children.
10. 10. Earl Burchett was the son of Mattison Burchett and Caroline Stallard Burchett. Earl was born August 30, 1904 in Carter County, KY
and died December 18, 1978 in Seattle, King, Washington. He was the husband of 8.Violet (Burchett) Burchett and father of 5.Gloria Jean Burchett Cox Coffey

12. Estill Burchett, son of Mattison and Caroline Stallard Burchett, was born July 22, 1907 in Carter County, KY.
Estill lived in Olive Hill until the Clay Mines diminished and then moved to Delaware . Estill died June 4, 1998 and is buried in Delaware.
