"Evelyn Burchett, b. Dec. 22, 1916, was the daughter of Roland and Bessie (Crawford) Burchett. Evelyn married Haskell Jarvis on Dec. 4, 1933. Haskell was b. Dec. 8, 1912 and d. July 17, 1948. He was the son of Thornton Jarvis of Olive Hill, Ky. Haskell was the County Clerk of Carter Co., up until his death. Evelyn filled the remander of his term and then ran for the office and was defeated by Carl Jaynes. Evelyn passed away April 27, 2003."
"Haskell and Evelyn's graves are at a cemetery on Tick Ridge in Olive Hill."
