James Asbury Burchett was born Jan 30, 1871 in Carter County, the son of Thomas Aims and Mary Miller Burchett. He died March 22, 1935 in Carter County. His wife was Nancy Elizabeth Burchett, was born June 19,1874 in Carter County and died Jan 31, 1966 Carter County.
