Richard "R. J." was born 1879 in Michigan and died 1950 in Carter County, Kentucky.

Lillie was born 10 Dec 1877 and died 26 June 1940. Lillie was the daughter of Nelson T. Keaton and Mary Ann (Huff) Keaton.

"This photo was taken on their wedding day, I have been told. That would have been June 26, 1901."

The children of Richard and Lillie were:

Roy S. Carroll (married Margaret Mabel Burnett), Audrey Mae (Carroll) Burnett (married Hubert Burnett),
Russell Carroll, Raymond Carroll, Richard Nelson Carroll, Mary Ann Carroll (stillborn), Ruth Carroll, and Hazael Carroll.

my Grandma has changed out of her wedding dress
