Gearldine Conn Porter
1947-2006
MOREHEAD - Gearldine Conn Porter, age 59, of 4206 State Highway 955, Olive Hill, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, September 9, 2006, at her residence.
She was born June 5, 1947, in Carter County, Kentucky, and was the daughter of the late Russell Harry Conn and Dorothy Roe Conn.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Arvil Conn , and her stepmother, Loretta Lowe.
She is survived by three daughters—Alberta Lou Conn and Jeannie Elizabeth Davis, both of Olive Hill, Kentucky, and Melissa Stevens of Harold, Kentucky;
two sons—Lloyd Russell Conn and Jeffery Allen Porter, both of Mansfield, Ohio; three sisters, Phyllis Scaggs and Eugenia Dailey,
both of Olive Hill, Kentucky, and Pauline Maddix of Waterloo, Ohio; three brothers—Leonard Conn and Calvin Conn, both of Morehead, Kentucky,
and Paul Conn of Olive Hill, Kentucky; 17 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Porter was a former certified nursing assistant at the Life Care Center of Morehead.
Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 13, 2006, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Rev.
Austin Carter and Rev. Delmar Logan, Jr. officiating; burial will follow in the Conn Cemetery at Soldier.
Pallbearers will be Calvin Conn, Paul Conn, Randall Conn, Freddy Conn , Danny Conn, Steve Conn, Howard Conn, and Bryan Conn.
Visitation is after 7 p.m. Monday and anytime Tuesday at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals.
