Elsie Whitt and Charles Manford Crawford, photos circa 1925, 1918 and 1919

Charles Manford Crawford, Sr (4-17-1897 to 6-7-1974) and Elsie Whitt Crawford (12-31-1899 to 8-14-1975).

Manford's picture was taken during WWI while he was stationed at Camp Zachary Taylor in Louisville, KY.

Elsie's picture was taken somewhere in the 1923-25, prior to her marriage to Manford.
Manford delivered mail by mule back, taught school, and served as Post Master in Olive Hill.
Elsie owned and operated a general store prior to her marriage. Elsie was also very proud of having been a new years baby.
She told me she was born on the last day of the last year, during the last hour of 1899.
