Henry Clay Crawford was born 28 Feb 1849 on Little Fork of Little Sandy River south of John's Run. He was the son of Benjamin F Crawford and Rebecca Williams Boggs. His family moved to James Branch on Tygerts Creek in 1857. He went to Hickory Co., MO in 1868 where he died on 24 Apr 1895.
