Lovell was born. 8 Jul 1909 at Wesleyville, Carter Co., Kentucky, the son of Elbert and Dovie (Erwin) Davis.
On 7 Oct 1935 he was married to Bertha Kee in the presence of Louella Hall and Douglas Hall by Lewis C. Hall at Grayson.
Their children were: Lovell, Jr.; Darrell G.; Dorothy; Delores "Tiny"; Elsie Mae; Faye; Shirley; and Frieda.
Lovell served as Grayson city councilman from 1970-1978; he was a former member of FIVCO Area Development District
and the Northeast Area Development District; he was an associate member of Paralyzed Vets of America;
and he was a member and deacon of First Baptist Church of Grayson. Lovell died on 14 Nov 1985.
His funeral was conducted by Sparks Funeral Hill with Charles Davis officiating.
At the time of his death, Lovell had 22 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
