John Mason Fannin died in 1883. The submitter's oral tradition is that John Mason was a minister.
The submitter obtained the steel etching from two dear ladies who were the daughters of Effie Fannin, the daughter of Taylor who was the son of Joseph Fannin and Mary Mullins.
