Talma Virginia (Fitzpatrick) Ross, wife of Dempsey Franch Ross

Talma was born on Dec. 24, 1889 in Jackson Twp., Jackson Co., Oh.. She died on April 25, 1983 while living at 9 Lady Ave., Jackson, Ohio.

She was the daughter of Adolphus B. Fitzpatrick and Margaret E. Cramblitt, both of Jackson County, Ohio.

Talma married Dempsey French on May 23, 1921 in Jackson, Ohio.

Talma and Dempsey had 5 children: Betty Maude Ross; Frank Denver Ross; Bobby Karoll Ross

Dempsey's first wife, Charlotte Grizzell had died in 1918, leavng him with two young children: Wayne Jacob Ross and Isabelle Ross.
Dempsey was born in Carter County, Kentucky.

The woman at the end surely looks like it could be my Aunt Maude (B. 1900). But the one identified as Lila, my Grandmother, really is off the mark. My Grandmother was very thin her whole life. I believe the Kenneth McKinniss Marilyn refers to is my first cousin in Jackson and the Bill is me, as many relatives call me Bill (William is my middle name).
