William Riley"General Bill" Flannery b.1845 d.1919 s/o John William "Jack" Flannery, Jr. and Eleanor Vansant
Bill was married Dec. 27,1866 in Morgan Co. to Nancy A. Davidson b.1846 d.1910 d/o Isom Davidson and Elizabeth Williams.

The Flannerys were the parents of 12 children that lived in the Morgan,Carter and Elliott Co. area.

9.Robert, killed in a shootout near Limestone KY in 1904

11. Sarah m. Luster Binion
12. Joseph m. Earlie Parker

"General Bill" served in the Union Army in E. Co. 40th KY Mounted Infantry in the Civil War.
He died Sept. 10, 1919 and is buried in the Flannery Cemetary near Olive Hill, Carter Co. KY
