William "Willie" Flannery and Francis "Fanny" Skeens, painting, circa 1906.
William was the son of William Riley Flannery and Nancy Davidson. Fanny was the daughter of Luke Skeens and Amanda Susan Rabb. Fannie died in1914 (the submitter doesn't know the reason for her death.) Willie went to Wisconsin, got into trouble and shot a man. The submitter's oral history tells us he was hiding out from the law, developed pneumonia and died. This took place in 1918. They left behind 2 young boys Elmer and Ernest to be raised by relatives. Willie and Fannie were my husband's grandparents.
