"Vesta's parents had a store in Olive Hill, close to the George Rayburn store years ago. They are buried in Olive Hill.
Mary Ellen's maiden name was Manning and her parents owned a store and post office at Winkler, which was on the road toward Hogtown.
The route now is 504, I believe. They are buried in the Manning cemetery at Greenbriar , on Porter Creek. My mother said they could
walk over the hills to visit her great grandparents so it wasn't to far. Winkler no longer exits.

I don't know anything about Vergie but Dempsey worked for C&O and was a conductor and he lived in Ashland, KY His wife was named Conie
and that is who my aunt Conie was named after. Dee became a Colonel in the Army and retired out west somewhere. Bertha married Dr, Sparks
and they lived in the big white house on Woodside in Olive Hill that later became the Ray Whitt home. It is still there today.
I don't know anything about Jimbo but these are things my mother told me and I knew Uncle Dempsey. He would come and visit us
and we would go down to the train station sometimes and see him as the train went by. The train came every evening about 6 or 6:30. "All Aboard"!!
