This is a photo of my great grandfather,Owen Jackson Fraley, born February 4, 1889 in Carter Co.,Ky.. He died May 23, 1975 in Logan,WV. The photo was probably taken in the 1950s.

Owen was the son of Robert and Josephine (Adkins) Fraley. His first marriage was to Leatha Cartwright in 1909 in Carter, County,Ky. They later divorced, probably around 1911. Leatha was the daughter of Edward and Virginia "Jennie" Belle (Morris) Cartwright. Leatha remarried, shortly after her divorce from Owen, to James Stamper, a son of Nathanial and Martha (Stewart) Stamper.

Owen's second marriage was to Lena Ellen Sexton, aka Ella Collins. They probably married shortly after his divorce, around 1911. She was the daughter of George Washington and Katherine (Morton) Sexton/Collins of Carter County, Ky.
