My great-great grandmother, Laura Fulton, was the first wife of Alexander F. Porter.
She was born Feb. 15, 1857 in Nicholas Co., KY., the daughter of Henry Fulton and Nancy Reveal.
She died Sept. 11, 1894 in Carter Co., Ky., and was buried at Old Fairview Cemetery.
"This is a sketch, or maybe a painting. Harlan Porter had the picture hanging in his house which burned in 1980.
I don't know if this picture survived. Someone had painted or sketched Alick Porter and Laura Fulton together,
even though they weren't posing together for the picture."
