"Hazel Madgeline Gilliam Smoot, age 82, of Greenville School Road, Greenville, Virginia, passed away Sunday, April 8, 2007, at her residence. Born May 19, 1924, in Carter County, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Green and Cora Waddell Gilliam. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Ottis Gilliam. Her husband, Ivory Smoot, passed away March 18, 2003."
