This photo was taken between July 2nd and 5th, 1942 at the old Griffey homeplace, Griffey Branch, Olive Hill, KY. 

Pauline Hall married Pete's brother, Paul, on July 2, 1942.  Eulaine's married name was Harris and Beatrice's married name was Ingles. 
Nana Bond is the daughter of Sherman Bond. Eulane's married name was Harris and Beatrice's married name was Ingles.   

Dorothy was Pete's love interest.  From the letters I have read he was truly in love with her and probably would have 
proposed upon his return from the war.  Unfortunately that was not to be.
